A numbers is divisible by $100$ if and only if it ends with the digits $00$.

\n

Since $\\var{num}$ ends with the digits $\\var{d1}\\var{d0}$ it is NOT divisible by $100$.

\n

Since $\\var{num}$ ends with the digits $\\var{d1}\\var{d0}$ it is divisible by $100$.

\n

To work out how many $100$s are in a number we simply cross of the last two zeros!

\n

For instance, crossing off the $00$ at the end of $\\var{num}$ gives $\\var{num/100}$ so we can conclude there are $\\var{thismany}$ hundreds in $\\var{num}$. In other words, $\\frac{\\var{num}}{100}=\\var{thismany}$.
