I think this is a really good question and there isn't really much that needs fixing, just a few grammatical points.

Advice

a)

On the second line here i think it should say "The frequency column" instead of "Frequency column".

b)

I would say "Therefore the mean is" instead of "Therefore the mean:" i don't think you need a colon there.

I would add another part but i'm not really sure what other multi choice questions i could do which would be different to the one that i already have in the question, so i think i'll just leave it as one part.

Thanks for your feedback Brad,

I did try to make it so that s and t were always integers but i think there are so many numbers involved in the calculation that it would be very difficult to do. Instead i have restricted the values that the variables can take to make the fractions in the answers slightly nicer.

I see what you mean about the error message, i'm not sure how to fix this but i have said that you can leave your answer as a fraction in the question.

I have also split the question up into parts to make it more accessible to students with less algebraic skill.
