Hi Christian, the correct answer for this question per the definition of the graph function is $x-1/x$, but this is not among the choices given (in the list of choices, $-1/x$ is marked as correct, i.e., the $x$ is missing). Similarly for the scaled variant.

There are a couple of typos in the pairs variable:

• In the first equation c should equal -5.5
• The third equation should have "-2" on the right hand side instead of "+2"
