I deleted the trig identity formula sheet sentence. I've retained "Use appropriate identities and algebraic techniques" as I want to emphasise that both may be required.

Looks good, Adelle. I made some minor edits.
But I think the question is a bit too verbose. I think that writing "Simplify <expression>." is sufficient. The following information:
- "Use appropriate identities and algebraic techniques"
- "Then select the correct answer from the options below."
- "You may wish to have the trig identity formula sheet available for reference as you attempt this question."
should be obvious. If they are not, then there are issues, in academic English, literacy, and reading comprehension, all of which I feel are outside the scope of Maths Start. I do believe that we should be training/preparing students for realistic maths questions, i.e., the way they will see them in exams in tertiary education.
As such, I would be inclined to remove these instructions. Students should know how to answer exam questions, and/or search for appropriate information.
Of course, if you feel that these tips should be kept in, then that's fine, also. I'll leave it up to you to decide.
