Collecting terms in

$\displaystyle\frac{dy}{dx}$ and rearranging the equation we get

$(\var{b} + 2y) \frac{dy}{dx} = \simplify[all,!collectNumbers]{{ -a} -2x}$ and hence on further rearranging:
