I am a Mathematics lecturer in the faculty of Engineering in the Technologival University of the Shannon (Midlands campus) in the Republic of Ireland. I mainly teach on Level 7 Ordinary level Degrees in Mechanical or Electronic or Software engineering.

Thanks for the comment.

I have fixed the original version of this question. I use the variable k in the question to vary the total number of observations. This allows ther to be 250 or 260 or 270 observations.
