I've randomised parts e) and f) now too but having problems with getting e) to finally simplify. Vicky would you mind having a look at this please? I've written THIS NEEDS TO SIMPLIFY next to the issue!
As a result of not getting it simplified, I haven't set the correct answers yet.

I have scrapped part e) as it didn't really fit with the question and it should now be fine.

- There is so much information in each part with all the options that it is a little overwhelming. It might be better to chisel down the options to include only the options that you think people may get confused with. Maybe 5/6 options for each part maximum.
- ADVICE
- I think the first sentence in the advice needs to be reworded. It's a little clumsy at the moment.
- For part a), maybe explain that 3a + 2a is simplified to 5a because you've collected like-terms.
- I feel like the "definitions" are too wordy. I actually feel like you should have a mathematical example either instead of or accompanying the word-definition. For example, for Factorisation, you have written "To put in brackets finding a common factor, this is usually the simplest form.". My thought process is that the user will be having to recognise and understand what the thing is when it is in a mathematical context rather than in a word-context. Therefore, I think you should write something like " for example 2x^2+x-3 = (2x+3)(x-1)".
- If you've included a quadratic, do you want to include a cubic as well?

- Your i) and ii) need to be not bold and in italics in the parts.
- The quadratic formula equation in the start of the advice is slightly incorrect - it should be 2a on the denominator, not 2.
- Something is not quite right for a)ii) in the advice as it is written as it would be when writing it and also midway through the advice for part b).
